ANTHROPOCENE PASTORAL
IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION
Anthropocene Pastoral is a multidisciplinary art piece that explores the emotional contradictions of the climate crisis—finding beauty in nature while mourning its decline. Inspired by Catherine Pierce’s poem, the work combines immersive installation, dance, sound, and film to create a deeply layered experience. Amelie played a key role in bringing this vision to life. Through projection mapping and animations, she transformed Clare Celeste Boersch’s intricate paper installation into a shifting, living organism, mirroring the fragile state of our environment. Her visuals interacted with Marina Duarte’s expressive dance, Romy Runkel’s atmospheric sound design, and Adriana Berroteran’s cinematic lens, creating a powerful meditation on ecological grief.
